Gothic Beach Studio began in 1993 in a small
cottage off the coast of Long Beach, CA as an
after-hours hang out for all sorts of bohemian,
artistic, free-spirited types. At the time it
was affectionately dubbed the "Gothic Beach House",
but soon evolved into the mega promotion company
known today.
Engaging the talents of like-minded fiends
in 1996, Blade Rhino gave life to Gothic Beach
Studio and started a sort of renaissance in the
gothic/industrial/vampiric scene.
"Vampiricus" emerged as the premier Gothic
dance club in the South Bay; an alternative to
the high-priced, pretentious Hollywood clubs
of the time. Shortly thereafter, projects such
as the "Mad Tea Party"
and the grand "Bizarre
Vampire Bazaar" showed that GBS was a creative
and inventive force in the scene.
GBS has continued to strive for Gothic excellence
and originality; trying to keep cost low for
its' patrons, while producing events that are
intriguing & entertaining. Vampires, freaks,
the unclean, the soulless -- all have gathered
here. We are many, we are one, we are you.
