Crush at Eternal
by Rachel Garnet
Hard
Scraping Industrial Noize, Black Leather Boots, Thighs exposed
to reveal Lacy Panties and fishnet stockings gave Eternal's
last evening at Club Vertigo's an electric shock of enough eye
candy and sound to last until it reopens at its next new venue.
Juann and Doomie
are the Masters of Reality and threw a good retrospect of where
the young Industrialists and Goths evolutionized from. Hits
like "Trip Like M"e and "Victor the Cleaner"
kept the dance floor packed. Then if things could not get any
better, H-Bomb and Thermal
Detonator blew the place up with P.A.L. and other unspeakable
assaults.
Eternal IS where Goths and Industrialists can stomp
together in the act of a militant crush and lure you within
its everlasting temptation and fires. To see a Goth girl in
the act of twirling and prancing amongst heavy boots and black
military gear can make your head spin, your eyes become swollen.
To have a crush on her and get her phone number is even better.
There was so much intense passion and dedication that I had
to cover my eyes hoping this night would never end. And it didn't.
Babyland's fusion of fire and metal
kept everyone jumping until a Slam Pit began the Eternal whirlpool
of human flesh, sweat, and blood. Security condoned the act
somewhat letting the assault continue. Watching Industrialists
and Goths together in the pit tells you we evolved from the
same ancient tribal rituals of fire, dance, and submissive ecstasy
as the frenzy climaxed until the end. Everyone exhausted and
satisfied from the orgiastic feast, the Eternal bonding began
as we exchanged embraces, sweet kisses, and farewells until
a girl fight broke out in front of Vertigos with hair,
jewelry, legs, and smeared faces on the cement walk. Too much
booze, too much animal scent, I don't know what started the
fight. But the girls agreed they were fucked up and made up.
Kiss Kiss. I haven't seen this much
electricity in a long time. And I know this is not the last.
Can hardly wait until the next Eternal..
